Hi Everyone! I am finally to get some free time to get back to my regular blogging. Between planning a wedding, taking salsa lessons, interior design classes and living life, this summer has flown by. I have been wanting an acrylic clutch organizer for awhile now. However, when I saw the price, I cringed. The ones that I came across were over $100 and very very large. For someone like me, who wants to organize on a budget and is in a small, shared space, the options just didn’t work. During one of my many internet browsing sessions, I found one on The Container Store’s website and fell in love with it – for one, the price ($40) and two, the size. You can find it here.
The acrylic is pretty thick and sturdy – two qualities that I think distinguish the cheaply made acrylic organizers from the better ones. The size is great for small closets and shelves, its 11″x11″x7 7/8″ and fits perfectly on the shelf in my closet. There are 3 compartments that are wide enough to store 2 clutches each. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and price and I am happy that I waited to buy one that was right for my space. I also think that you can get pretty creative with what you want to store in them – I was thinking of putting wallets, cloth belts and ties, or any other type of small accessory. I can also see it being used on a desk for storing stationary.
