Happy April everyone! I hope that you are as excited as I am for a new season. Although, in NYC/NJ it seems that winter has looped back around unfortunately. However, that’s not gonna stop me as I am already in full swing with restyling my décor for the season. If you missed my “fallerizing” or “winterizing” posts, you can find them here and here, where I highlighted some simple ways to change your décor as the seasons change.
This time around, my seasonal changes were much more subtle, a pillow here and a candle there. By adding this beautiful berry/fuchsia color, I feel like our dark turquoise, brown and cream décor is revived with a pop of color, much like the pops of colors that peak out in spring flowers. I found these wonderful candles in Home & Fabulous’ Etsy shop (if you don’t follow her on IG, you should @homeandfabulous and check out the Etsy shop here) and these great candle holders from Ikea that you can find here. I have had some trouble hunting down pillows in this color, but was able to score two from Pier 1 on clearance -SOLD! I added some fresh blooms from my local supermarket (check out my flower posts on IG @cosmopolitanclosets).
Check out my pics below and let me know what you think! As always, thanks for reading and feel free to share how you change your décor for spring.
