• Cosmopolitan Closets Customizing: Growing A Garden

So I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love gardening!  Unfortunately, once I moved out of Harlem, I lost my terrace and my gardening space.  However, that didn’t stop me from gardening this summer at my bf’s mom’s house in Jersey City.

Honestly, there is no recipe for the perfect garden.  I just built the box (with my bf’s help of course), filled it with dirt, planted the plants and watched it grow!  Check out my pics below and feel free to share your garden pics too!  I want to see what you are growing!

Here is a list of everything we planted:
Tomatoes, green onions, jalapenos, cow peppers, green bell peppers, banana peppers, carrots, green beans, Japanese eggplant, zucchini, garlic, basil, oregano, tarragon, thyme, rosemary, mint, spearmint, parsley and watermelon (although I am not sure if one will actually grow!).

Here is the garden box that I found at Home Depot for $99.  Here is the link.
BEFORE:  This is the garden box built and ready for planting.  The instructions and assembly are very straightforward and require a lot of dirt.
THEN:  This is the garden box once everything was planted, from either seeds or starter plants, all found at Home Depot and Lowes.

NOW:  Everything is growing like crazy!
