Hi everyone, happy August! I honestly cannot believe that it’s August already but I might as well get over it ‘cuz here we are! I’ve been meaning to post this latest #allaboutaccessories post for awhile but so many things came up in July (I truly believe Mercury showed out in retrograde lol). With that being said, let’s jump right into it!
I really enjoy going to the beach or going to a pool during the summer or while on vacation and I take my looks very seriously. The last thing I want is an ill-fitting swimsuit and boring accessories! Check out some of my fave beach bags and coverup combos below – everything is very affordable. I tend to not spend a lot of beach/pool wear because the season is so short in the Northeast, but that doesn’t mean I don’t wanna look cute. My favorite stores to buy swim/beach apparel include TJ Maxx and Marshalls, Forever 21 Plus, ASOS, BooHoo, Shein, Target, Walmart, Old Navy.
My favorite coverup style is a kimono or kaftan although from time to time I will wear a sarong or jumpsuit. I love mixing bags, hats and slides with my different coverups and suits.
My favorite type of beach bag is a straw one, but the washable cloth bags are great too! Walmart always has a lot of options for a good price.
My favorite type of swimwear is a one piece. Its more flattering on me and I have so many!
My favorite hats are big straw ones – the bigger the better. I find hats everywhere- but TJ Maxx usually has a great selection of stylish ones at the beginning of the season.
My favorite sunglasses are from Nordstrom or Aldo. I don’t wear expensive glasses to the beach, since I often leave my stuff unattended when I go to water.
