• No Need to Buy, Just DIY!

Happy Friday friends!  Hope you are all enjoying 2017 so far, I know I am.  As always, I am planning, journaling and DIYing lol.  As per usual, I want to share a super easy way to repurpose what you already have in your cabinet instead of going to buy matching jars.
If you remember (if not, check out my post here), my boyfriend and I love Victoria Gourmet spices and have amassed quite a collection (you can find them at TJMaxx, Marshalls and Homegoods).  They come in beautiful glass jars and I honestly found myself just holding onto the jars, but not doing anything with them.
Then one day it dawned on me, all I have to do is wash them out, peel off the labels (just soak in soapy water) and I have a set of brand new jars to use.  Check out my pics below and let me know what you think!  If you have beautiful glass jars, think of some other ways to use them; craft supplies, small toys, beauty products like cotton balls, etc.

So I had about 13 jars from spices that I used up.  I washed all the jars, soaked off the labels and dried them.  Here are my spice jars refilled with other spices.

I used my label maker to label all the spices instead of using the post-its! LOL!  I tried a couple different font sizes until I got it right.

As you can see, we have a ton of these spices, so reusing the jars made a lot of sense to me since they are glass and in good condition.

Here are some of them all labeled.  I stuck to the smaller font size because it just looked neater.

I stack my extra spices in a small cabinet over the stove for easy access while cooking.  I think I can eventually replace all the spice jars with the glass jars.  However, you can find these jars in places like Hobby Lobby in case you don’t have them in your kitchen already.
