• Scarves, Gloves and So Much More!

    Hello everyone! Happy Hump Day!!!

So it has been awhile since my last post, sigh.  I hate when that happens.  The fall and winter months tend to slip right by, between all the work, birthdays and holidays!  Anyway, I hope that you are enjoying the winter and looking forward to the New Year!  And if you’re anything like me, you probably have a host of cold weather accessories that need organizing!  They tend to take up a lot of space and I figured that hat boxes might do the trick. They are kinda old school and add a little charm to any space.  I found mine at Burlington Coat Factory for $5-$10 each, but you can find them a lot of places.  They are perfect for gloves, scarves (hats obviously lol), earmuffs and more.

Here is a link to some plain hat boxes sold at The Container Store.  If you are an avid DIYer, then these may be perfect for you as the decorating possibilities are endless!  Check out the pics below and let me know what you think!

Here is my little nightstand, mirrored of course!  And as you can see, the hat boxes are on the shelf below 🙂

I originally bought the hat boxes to house the vintage hats and gloves that I inherited from my Nana, but you can use them for almost anything!  I have 4 large hats stacked inside this box.

The smaller hat box houses my vintage leather gloves, about 12 pairs here!

Here is a picture of the smaller hat box again, but this time, it has headbands.  I think there are 33 headbands in this box, so that is a great use of space to me!

When I first saw these boxes, I was drawn to the colors – cream, black, nude and turquoise, but they also have cute decals on them too.  I mean who doesn’t love shoes, bags and perfume!
