• Bunch O’ Belts!

Hi there!  In my last post, I featured a $2 hanger that has a multitude of uses, belts being one of them.  However, I already have a belt system in place and I thought that I would share it, as another option to organize and store your accessories.  I decided to use an over-the-door hanger, that has 10 hooks.  I think these hangers are extremely useful and save precious closet space. The one I bought was only $12.99 and I found it at Marshalls (my favorite store in the whole world, lol)! Here are a few other options from Bed, Bath and Beyond and Target

There are some other cool ways to store belts too; I’ve seen them rolled up in drawers or in containers. See the pics below and let me know what you think!

This is your average over-the-door hanger, with 10 hooks.  I started by separating the belts by size and color and hung the large belts directly onto this hanger (about 28 belts) and used other hangers for the smaller belts, shown below.  By organizing the belts this way, they don’t take up closet or drawer space and do not prevent the door from opening/closing.  I will use the top hooks for my hats!

I decided to hang my smaller belts on another multi hanger (with 6 bars) because they snap together, not allowing me to put them through one of the hooks.  I was able to hang 18 belts!  Here is a link for a similar belt hanger.

For my skinny belts, I actually used a plastic scarf ring that I got for free with a scarf purchase.  I was able to fit 8 belts on this ring.

Here are some other belt storage options that I found on Pinterest.  Check out the DIYs below, they are super easy and functional.
